The Horizontal pumps manufactured are of centrifugal back pull-out, single stage, centerline discharge, end-suction, injection molded constructions in Polypropylene or PVDF for HCL, HF, and H2SO4 etc. The Impeller is fixed on the shaft threading and is provided with either ceramic sleeve, extensions in Hastelloy-C, Glass filled Teflon, or Alloy-20 etc, as per the need of the chemical.
A positive and reliable shaft sealing is provided to ensure that the liquid does not enter in between the shaft and the sleeve ensuring no corrosion of non wetted parts. The pumps are with Grafoil gland packing or an appropriate Mechanical seal.
The Bearing Block Adaptor a connecting piece between volute casing and bearing block is a separate sturdy piece and is made of Glass filled Polypropylene to avoid effect of the corrosion due to liquid leakage through the glands or atmospheric corrosion.
